Legibl

No account needed, and none will be asked for. If you think Legibl is being used against a system you operate, this form reaches us directly. So does abuse@legibl.com, if you would rather mail.

Reports are acknowledged within one business day. We attribute traffic per target domain, so we can act on a domain without first working out which customer was responsible — a named target is the single most useful thing you can give us.

An anonymous report that names a target is more useful to us than no report, so the address is optional. Without one we cannot tell you what we did.

What we can do

  • Refuse a target domain for every account at once. This is the fastest remedy we have and it does not require identifying anyone.
  • Suspend a key or an account while we investigate.
  • Terminate an account. The acceptable use policy lists what we terminate for.
  • Respond to lawful requests from law enforcement, and to operators pursuing a legal remedy.

What we cannot do

We cannot tell you who a customer is on the strength of a form submission, and we will not. If you need identity, that comes through a lawful request — write to abuse@legibl.com and we will tell you what we can accept.
